How will the Game Plan help me?
I’m glad you asked
That was the question we focused on when we were building the Game Plan – “How will it help me?”
I guess that is not a surprise. It is the same question I ask every time I develop a new EyeLine putting product. Selfish? Maybe, but it keeps me focused.
So what is the point of the Game Plan? It helps you create a blueprint for your improvement.
I have used a spreadsheet form of the “Scoring Calculator” for my game and my sons’ for 20 years. Knowing “how” to shoot a score was important – # GIR, birdies, scrambling, 3 putts. We created a plan for each of their scoring milestones – breaking 80, 76, 72, and 70. We compared their stats to tour players (our favorite was the #125 on the money list”).
Knowing what needed to improve created a sense of focus and urgency during practice. We made up all sorts of games (which you will find in “Game Builders”) to create a competition for the key stat. Those were great days
If you have questions about using the Game Plan – the “why’s” of it – I would love to help.
If you have comments about your favorite practice games, please post them for the world to enjoy.
